To be considered for our free, volunteer-based services, seniors must:
- Be 60 years of age or older and able to manage own care needs.
- Live independently – not in an adult family home or nursing home — and who need some help to remain independent in their own home.
- Available to complete a home visit with Eastside Friends of Seniors staff.
- Reside in Issaquah and Sammamish. We also provide direct service for some clients in parts of the Bellevue and Snoqualmie Valley area. However, at this time, we are not accepting new clients in the Snoqualmie Valley and Bellevue areas.
Our services are provided at no cost, but we welcome donations.

Shopping and Errands
Not just a ride, but help in the store, and putting your groceries away at home, if you need it.
Home and Yard Chores
Lite, occasional housekeeping, handyman chores, and yard work.
Transportation for Social Visits
Friendly visiting or bringing you to visit with a family member in an adult family home or skilled nursing facility.
